Because Crohn's disease affects the digestive system (and) no longer localized areas in the CPU, I was asked if any of you had better patient MC (or at least adequate) treatment Entocort outbreak instead of prednisone. I love my daughter with the CD can be treated with something other than prednisone ... Thank you.

  1. I had the CD for about 10 years. They put me on Entocort about a year and a half, and I love it! I had only 2 relapses since I started to have, and was admitted to a hospital. For acute episodes get me my doc is on Prednisone, Entocort with, but that is usually calm for a period of two weeks, everything. As for the maintenance of Entocort I can not say anything bad about this - I love is like a miracle drug for me!

  2. Crohn's disease can affect the entire digestive tract, but it usually works, there is inflammation in one part (s) elements of the small intestine or certain parts of the colon. Most people have either Crohn illeum terminal, which is the last part of the small intestine, where the small intestine meets the colon. Or you can find in one part of the colon.

There are things you can do to treat Crohn's disease for a person to go into remission. The first is the use of Entocort prednisone or other drugs, the other for feeding their children and cook dinner for them to change, so you control what you can receive. Check www.scdiet.com where many parents have learned over the world, save their children from becoming ill. Change in diet, with the CPC and the use of LDN, low dose of naltrexone is an association that many of us helps. Do not use any drugs for 2 years old, I am very good with low doses of naltrexone. (www.ldninfo.org) It is actually a phase II study at Penn State University led by Professor Jill SmITH, if it is determined that the NDA and Crohn's disease, a great combination. He is now proceeding with a trial for the children and the NLD. Find out more about the NDA to the official website of the NLD. I'm sorry to read that your child has this disease, I hope you in the future! Oh, and Yahoo sites with a group that helps others help this alignment, nutrition and the NLD to be done. Visit us on behalf of these groups is LDNandIBD / Ingrid
